Kuala Lumpur

Flying in from Brunei, the final stop on the GAP trip was Kuala Lumpur. No time to explore the city, but that didn’t really matter, as we had booked an extra week in KLCC – Kuala Lumpur City Centre – and had time to explore the city on our own. Kota Kinabalu & Brunei

Arriving from Sepilok & Sandakan we had time to explore Kota Kinabalu. The most interesting was the night market by the sea. Leaving Kota Kinabalu we flew to Brunei and had time to explore the capital – Bandar Seri Begawan. Singapore

Arriving by bus from Melaka, we now entered Singapore. It’s one of the cleanest places I’ve ever been to, and somehow felt like an Asian Dubai. [googlemap lat="1.352083" lng="103.819836" width="300px" height="150px" zoom="10" type="G_NORMAL_MAP"]Singapore[/googlemap]

Melaka

Moving on from Kuala Lumpur & Taman Negara, our next stop on the trip was in the city of Melaka. It was once a Portuguese colony, and today a UNESCO World Heritage site. [googlemap lat="2.205685" lng="102.256155" width="300px" height="150px" zoom="9" type="G_NORMAL_MAP"]Malaysia[/googlemap]
