Firefox 3.0 has been released – though the website hasn’t been updated at the time of writing. Get it from the FTP-servers. After a few hours of use the new firefox seems faster and much less memory-hungry. So far I haven’t seen any issues. Go Get It.

Firefox 3.0 – Get It Now!
Jun 17
It seems many developers get stuck in the same systems maintaining the same code for years and years. While it may be a common phenomenon there are a few things you can do as a developer to avoid being trapped in your own code forever. First make things readable. While your brain may be wired [...]
There are some fundamental differences in how Microsoft and Apple does things. If you haven’t been aware of them before switching from a Windows based computer to a Mac, you’ll probably notice some of them pretty fast. One of the first things I discovered is that things are more “binary” in the Mac world. If [...]
ZendStudio for Eclipse
May 28
For professional PHP development, nothing beats ZendStudio in my book. Currently ZendStudio is in the process of moving from a standalone application to something build on top of Eclipse. I’m sure it might be a wise move on the long term, but there are a few things bugging me with th current version. The number [...]
Simple Webpage Slideshow
May 18
At work we produce a few websites and have a few “web dashboards”. With tinyurl you can post a long (even really long) url on the site and have a short (redirect through tinyurl) instead. It’s pretty smart, but I really [...]
PHP4 RIP
May 9
In less than 3 months – on August 8th, 2008 – PHP4 reaches end of life. If you still haven’t updated, it’s damn well time to get migration started. PHP5 far better than the previous versions, and if it’s good enough for Yahoo, Facebook and many other huge sites, it’ll probably be a joyride for [...]
Lisbon
May 3
I’ve been vacationing in Lisbon and after a few days of sorting and selecting photos from the trip, they are now online. It was a few busy days walking all over the city, visiting Sintra and much more.
Lisbon
Apr 26
Lisbon is the capital for Portugal, and an often overlooked destination for City vacations it seems. We rented an apartment for a week in the old part of town and went exploring. Lisbon is a reasonably small town making it easy to explore many sight by foot, by tram, by busses or by trains. Apart [...]
Twittering
Apr 16
It seems I don’t find time to do too many stories to the site currently. I do however twitter occasionally. As a convenience I’ve added the latests twitters on the site too…
